Just 30 minutes from Hobart and seven minutes from Huonville, this is the perfect base for exploring Hobart’s cultural highlights, like the recently opened Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), as well as the natural beauty of the Huon Valley.

Both cottages have high, vaulted ceilings and large verandas overlooking the Crabtree River and the pastures beyond.

Slow combustion fires, two person spas and French-influenced bedrooms make these the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway.

Relax on the veranda, watching the river flow past and keeping an eye out for Norman the elusive platypus.

Cook a meal in the kitchenette using produce gathered during a day exploring the Huon Valley, then curl up by the fire sipping your complimentary port.

Breakfast provisions are provided, with eggs, bacon and apple juice all sourced locally.
